^^^ If you can get the front SS/SC lip in CF that would be badass.

Haha... someone is having those made. It's actually the lip wrapped in CF.

I think the pics look weird more so than the hood itself. I think its just that its at night and stuff. I love the SS style hood - good choice dan. Is it functional? How light is it compared to the factory hood? I like it.

Yeah... after taking it out tonight and seeing it in different light, the carbon fiber looks pretty good. It's looks very dark in the pics but it's way lighter in person and in better light.

As far as weight, it's pretty damn light. The stock hood isn't all that heavy, but this thing is VERY light. The scoop is open to the engine bay, so the only real functionality it provides right now is maybe cooling the motor a bit. I'm on the rocks as to what to do with it yet. I want to maybe paint it. There are some imperfections in the gelcoat, so if I do keep it unpainted, I have to at least get those fixed. They aren't bad... just cracks in the gelcoat (which is quite common in these parts from what I've read).

If nothing else, it looks very sharp and is lighter than the stocker.

No BWW for me tomorrow... I'll be at the Backyard Brawl!!!

I'll be at the Pitt vs. WVU game tonight. I'll call you after I get out of there and see if you're up to anything though.

Camping did NOT go down as planned...that and we are grossly unprepared. So it's basically just a camp out at my house till you people decide where the hell we're going tonight.

Now that I WILL be doing - you coming with?

Actually there shouldn't be any need to camp for that. They are supposedly producing enough of those to fulfill initial demand. But camping is fun. Saturday night. Be there. You need to buy a DS though so you can be cool like me n Wes. Exchanging naughty drawings on Pictochat FTW...

You should all watch the game at BWW in Monroeville tonight. Then I will stop on my way home from the game and show off my shiny new hood.

Woot, WiFi FTW. No 300 for a free Wii, still buying one though.

I guess we are doing BWW tonight at Monroeville if it isn't too busy from the game.

So you guys like downtown pittsburgh or suburbs?

I'm @ DuBois, PA if any of you know where that is. About 1.5 hr NE of Pittsburgh, right on i80. I'd like to meet up with everyone when it's nice outside again. F this rain storm today, it's been raining for two days straight here, lots of flooding.

later

edit: accidently hit the wrong key.. meant NE of Pittsburgh. haha thanks splink

isnt Dubois NE of Pittsburgh? Im from Kittanning and I know I have to go East to hit DuBois.

as far as hanging out everyone is usually in Moon, Monroeville, or Greenburg area. Once in a while there is a big meet and we all get together and eat.
