Ohhh and I had a blast last night @ the Starlight cruise. That was an incredible show and we need to get our azzes there EARLY to get a spot... well if you want to park together, that is.

1305 REGISTERED cars..... that's not counting the people that parked in other lots since they couldn't get in....

Onething I WILL say is PLEASE PLEASE Register your cars... its $3 for the entire year and it goes to keep this thing running. ( come on... that's 1 beer )

Yeah, probably. Although my dad is finally happy my car is out of there, and to put another LSJ in it... lol. Should be fine though.

can't make it. work closing shift, and have four lawns to cut tomorrow. Just ordered $300 worth of gauges, and a gauge pod, and still need to buy a boost gauge. Gotta pay for it somehow haha

When's the next event? I'll request off. And I'd rather wait till I get the heat exchanger installed...worried about heat soak.

If I get done, I'll try to come up and watch/cheer.

Its' events # 2 & #3 for SCCA region. That's where I will be all weekend....

My plans tonight involve putting on a vibrant (gasp, loud) catless downpipe then drinking beer till I pass out. All nighter at work last night kicked my ass.

What a way to end the night. You missed it Dan. Apparently if I would have had stock pistons, I would have blown my motor again, lol. Hopefully there isn't any damage, none that I can see. But damn, I never had a hit of knock, detonation, or w/e that was.

Racing silver Dan, top of fourth my car just decides to hit a brick wall with three loud gunshot backfires. The engine just dies, and I drift to the shoulder of the highway. Apparently from Dan's eyes, I shot 3 flames about 12ft/carlength long and it looked ******* badass. My heart dropped and had a WTF look on my face. Wouldn't start at first, but it did eventually. BTW thanks for actually stopping Dan, lol. Your car is ******* quick for a 2.8'er.

Dunno what happened, but now that everything seems ok, that was FTMFW fo sho. Need to do that again with a camcorder. Starting to think that maybe a 2.5 pulley with these pistons isn't too smart.

 

Wow... I probably would have shat in my ebony sport cloth seats if that happened to me right after rebuilding the motor. Hope it's ok. Bed for me... auto-x early.
