Yeah, traffic is weird, I left Wes' house to go home the one day at 5:15 on a Wednesday and I was like "Jesus this is gonig to suck with traffic." Made it home in 25 minutes, traffic was moving at 50mph through the tunnels.
I guess I would accept a Cherry Coke...

If you get to the tunnels too early, give Wes or I a call, you can stop by my house if you don't want to sit around B-dubs for too long.
Oh hey Brian, can you bring that fluid from your house???? I'm planning on doing the brakes tomorrow. Also, if you care to join us, you're more than welcome. I'm going to need a cop-watcher anyway. My biggest question right now is where/how I'm going to get a good spot to bed them in. Only thing I can think is I can use 30 then the Parkway.
Should have taken a picture of the instructions, would make for a good "But officer..." story...
Basically:
1. Controlled braking 3-5 times from 35mph w/o stopping
2. Controlled braking 3-5 times from 55mph w/o stopping
3. Increase vehicle speed to simulate race speeds. Appy firm brake pressure to bring into a controlled braking procedure w/o stopping.
So, uh, front straight speeds at BeaveRun are in the neighborhood of 130-140mph. So uh. Yeah. Gonna need someone to lookout for cops....

So far for this Saturday I know it's me, Dave, Dan, and Tim. I think also John and his GF are going. I don't think Dan is getting any tint done Saturday though. He said he's only getting the Redline tinted now.
Does anyone know what we are going to do for the couple hours it will take? Hop Scotch in the parking lot?
I will be bowling on Saturday so I am out.
Alicia, I will bring the fluid with me tonight... DO you want me to bring 2 just in case you need it?? Like I said... if you open it, the bottle's yours. I don't want it after that.
I think I paid $20 a bottle, but I'll see if I have teh reciept to prove it. I know I spend over 120 that day @ Summit, so that makes sense.
I will be @ BWW By 630- 645

I have no idea which place in Uniontown you guys are going. If it's the one my family sends all their business to, there's Laurel Highlands high school right behind it w/a softball field, track and football field, there's also an elementary school a block or two away with a baseball field. Can't remember any other "good" places in Uniontown that do tint, so if it's not Gallatin, I don't know what else would be around it. Heckling locals is always fun. Don't know how late you guys are staying out there, but there always used to be plenty of rice around. U'town has it's own Cavalier/Sunfire car club. The Hondas down there are USUALLY (not always) decently done. There's a mean turquois Civic hatch the cruises North Union with slicks on. Don't know if he's still around. There's a few quick Mustangs and such. If you guys get THAT bored, there's still one or two good stretches left to race on. All the other hot spots got shut down by the Stateys (or construction) quite a long time ago and the actual city cops are complete dicks.
Bring all 3 just in case. I'm doing a full system flush and refill, so it actually may take all 3.

Anyone find out what kind of tint it is? Can we at least find out if it's a dyed tint?
I'm out for this week - lots of mods going in for tune on Sunday
- but would still like to do 2 cars next week.

From what dave told me, this is the guys business. Not only does he do cars, but also businesses/homes. I dont think he would use a dyed tint to do that with. The stuff on John's car definitely did not look dyed. Im sure that if you werent happy with any part of it when you got there, you wouldnt have to do it.
That was a fun lil get together tonight, good to you guys come out. My unlucky streak continued on the way home though... an SRT-4 wont even race me, i mean god will it ever end lol, must be scared of silver of something..... oh but the beat ass 90's accord with the bumper falling off wants to race :/

Danm it was good seeing you as well last night. Had fun @ BWW. Our waitress might have been easy on the eyes, but she was hard to NOT slap and say " how do you still have a job?"
Had a scary moment this morning.... 5:10AM and there was a PA Statey sitting on the shoulder clocking us.... and yes... I was going above the posted sign.... almost 10 over...
I was checking my mirrors the rest of the way on the pike to see him catch up...
Wanted to use the "i got here as fast as I could" line....

Brian, yeah I cringe every time we're in there and she's working, which unfortunately is like EVERY wing night. I'm clueless as well to why she still has a job, because she has NEVER been good. Not like "Oh well, she must be having a bad night." Nope, every night is a bad night for her.
I had an "Oh ****!" moment the other day. Coming down Bus 22 through Wilkins I got clocked at 20 over. Luckily the 30 cars or so behind me were all doing the same speed, so there was no way in hell he could ever catch up.

I love when this happens because its like the addage about outrunning a bear. I dont have to outrun a bear, i only have to outrun you. I never felt like that with my cavalier, but i think id be willing to take a chance with this car....
Yeah, it was pretty sweet cause I was only like the first or second car, we were all flying through there, the cop had no chance, by the time the light up the hill changed, probably 40 or so cars had gone through and I was already up by Buffalo Wild Wings.
