I dont think the GT500s will appreciate over time, since they are making 8500 a year. this was an exception being their first year

the KR is limited to I believe 1500, and the Super Snake, with its 625hp and 740hp options will def be a collectors item too

I will prob pick up a used 07 GT500 when i can find one for a decent price, that or a low mile z06, which i know of where one is right now.

but we want a nice sized house within this year, so thats priority right now

I had to spike the brakes hard this morning to miss a frikin turkey.... wow... glad I didn't eat. I would've coughged up my food from the force of the belt locking.

That makes me sad that you don't get any squeaks or squeals. I don't know what's wrong with mine, might PM ya with some ideas. The squeaks are getting better now that they've been on for quite a while. It's encouraging for you to say that though, cause I LOVE their stopping power, but was NOT going to re-buy them for the simple fact that I can't stand the noise.

well, what did you use as far as lube for the mounting surface between the pad & the caliper?? I'm curious about that.

How well did you clean the inside of the calipers?

We'll talk more. I'm SUPER happy on the street. We'll see this weekend how they work on course during EVO school.

Wes went out and got anti-squeal gel. The inside of the calipers need cleaned really bad. Might get some stuff and do that this rainy weekend.

There's NO WAY I can get there by then, I barely get home by 5 and I have to go to National City and get things on my new checking account finalized. I think I'm going to play it by ear as far as going/not going.

Well that might be the reason why you're getting squeal/sqeak...... Those pads shouldn't have it on them... those backers are some kind of neoprene pad instead of an OEM styled tin backing.... they are almost like a self-lubricating type of material. Not that they acutally lube themselves, but they are made of a compound that doesn't require them to be.

I didn't use any stuff on mine like I did on the Satisfied Pro-Ceramics I had on. The Pros came with the lube tubes, the HPS didn't.

Hope that what I said makes sense...

Dan P. Have fun and be safe out there tomorrow... the troopers will be out big time this weekend...

Well we tried it without and it sounded worse than it does now. I don't recall there being neoprene pads on the back of mine???????????
