Pittsburgh Crew < You
LOL maybe it's just me or the goofy ass Monday mood I'm in, but that sounds strangely homosexual in a "you touch mine, I'll touch yours" kinda way.
get your mind out of the gutter

LOL that's pretty much the only way my mind CAN go. I have an inner office with NO outside windows. Just 4 walls, two desks, a phone, and some file cabinets. With no windows for it to wander out of, the gutter is the next logical place for it.
says the married guy...my gf keeps me busy enough
A man walks into a drug store with his 8-year old son. They happen to walk by the condom display, and the boy asks, "What are these, Dad?"
To which the man matter-of-factly replies, "Those are called condoms, son... Men use them to have safe sex."
"Oh I see," replied the boy pensively. "Yes, I've heard of that in health class at school." He looks over the display and picks up a package of 3 and asks, "Why are there 3 in this package."
The dad replies, "Those are for high school boys. One for Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday."
"Cool!" says the boy. He notices a 6 pack and asks, "Then who are these for?"
"Those are for college men," the dad answers. "TWO for Friday, TWO for Saturday, and TWO for Sunday."
"WOW!" exclaimed the boy, "then who uses THESE?" he asks, picking up a 12 pack.
With a sigh, the dad replied, "Those are for married men. One for January, one for February, one for March........"

Wow, i leave this thread for 3 hours and come back to see a bunch of pics of dongs...i guess i should go back and re-read what started this, but i don't wanna see that all over again
Anyway, Jay, what type of wax/polish/etc would you recommend for my car to bring out the metallic in the impulse blue more? I'm currently using some older meguiar's liquid wax, and I was going to tr out zaino, but everyone says it's good for a super deep finish but not too great with metallics. Then I read about people saying pinnacle waxes are good for metallics.
Any recommendations from Jay or anyone else are appreciated.

Pinnacle Souveran is nice, but you will need a sealant to go over on top of it.
Meguiars 1-2-3 Crystal Coat system is nice, so is their gold class
Meguiars NXT will really bring out your shine, but unfortunately it does not protect worth a damn
Zaino is nothing more than a Polish and a Sealant system. Looks great, but protects for crap
After lots of research and chemical testing, I decided to use this as my wash method
Materials:
3 wash buckets, meguiars gold class wash, microfibre towels, applicator pads, terry cloth towels
3M Swirl Cutter or Meguiars Scratch X, Jaxwax (carnuba and sealer), and Meguiars ultimate detail spray, mothers clay bar, and dawn liquid dish soap
3 bucket method:
bucket 1: car soap and water
bucket 2: just water (used to rinse your microfiber wash mit per panel)
bucket 3: car soap and water, use only for wheels
(only do this part every few months or when changing setups)
-Wash car with dawn liquid dish soap
-Dry with chamois, or 100% cotton towell, with the edges/seams cut off (I use an absorber)
-Claybar entire car with claybar and bottle of lubricant, keep rubbing till the surface is smooth, do not grind the clay off on the paint, just until it glides
(this should be regular detail activity)
-Wash car with meguiars gold class wash
-Dry car
(only do if you have a lot of scratches, I usually only do this when I'm claying)
-Apply Scratch X, or 3M Swirl cutter, till desired affect is achieved
(every few washes i do this)
-Apply coat or 2 of carnuba wax with sealant and polish/glaze (jaxwax is my preferrence)
(every wash)
-Spray entire car with meguiars ultimate spray or nxt
then do your wheels, windows, interior etc
Here's my routine:
-spray car. Get distracted, walk away.
-come back, spray it again.
-fill bucket with water and $1.99 carwash soap from Pepboys.
-soap roof, windows, rinse.
-check e-mail. Return to car and rinse off water spots.
-soap hood/trunk. Rinse. Re-read an article in MotorTrend while on the toilet.
-scrub fenders, doors, rinse.
-rims, soaped and rinse.
-check e-mail. Return and re-rinse.
-re-rinse for the hell of it.
-dry with towel.
-leave all the crap laying out and put it away some other time.
-complain when the water bill comes, later that month.
-put away stuff.
I love owning a Satty hehe
