Just heard a radio spot for the Nopi Drift Challenge that will be here at the end of the month. Apparently the Chevrolet Cobalt sponsors it. I thought that was a little odd.

Since I was out of the loop yesterday, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that made it to Starlight on Friday night. That was a blast! Between the Cobalt crew and the Goat herd, we had a nice group togeher.

Seeing the bumblebee Camaro ended my "I gotta get a GTO" itch. I got to ride behind Dan's GTO and was loving the new exhuast, but I can only imagine what that would sound like coming from the new Camaro.

Absolutely LOVED the Fox & the Hound. Great bar with plenty to see and do there. Have to go back there again sometime, and tell someone to drive me so I can drive a few

I'm here working ( on a Sunday... blah ), and it's beautiful outside... WTF was I thinking?

 

Plead insanity. I'm actually trying to finish up the furniture swapping process. I need to get a few things put back together in the bedroom and a bit more stuff put away in the office. But otherwise the house is really looking great.

 

That's good to hear. I would plead insanity, but how would that be different than any other day for me??

I might have finally found someone to take my bedroom furniture off my hands. FInally have more room in the garage for car stuff

 

I'm glad you like the new exhaust Brian...I friggin love it. When I got home Friday night, my mom commented that my car sounded different and louder, but my dad didn't even notice. Then driving up the mountain to the wedding yesterday, my dad was driving in front of me and when we got there, he said "you changed your exhaust the other day didn't you?"

Hehehe, it didn't take him long to notice and he wasn't too upset. He said he didn't want me to change it out, but he knew I would anyway. Oh well, one more small modification remaining and I will be modded out for F Stock.

This has been the best/worst month of my life. Best because I got some decent paychecks, worst because all I've been doing is working.

However....I FINALLY have some free time, this week, Thurs. - Sat. Anything going on? Need to catch up with you all.

I was thinking about possibly having something at my place (i.e. food, beer, debautchery). Would be a good excuse to actually clean the place.

I'm off all day Friday, and Sat., so if enough of you are interested, let me know. If not, I'll make it out to something or other.

Actually, she introduced him as "her friend", and then proceeded to talk about how the had classes together.

They didn't seem very "cozy". I think she had more contact with me than him.

But... I was just happy I was able to talk, so I didn't care about getting digits or anything.

Pittsburgh Nopi Drift Competition. This is not exhibition - this is an actual circuit race. I belive tickets are around 25 for one day and 45 for sat and sun combo. Tickets can be purchased at the event. This ticket is for the whole day. The competition, carshow and other stuff.

Yep... I saw this on NOPI's schedule earlier in the year while I was checking out other things on their site.
