Ya i have no red ring. I didnt on the other one either. But both did the same thing. Its weird. I called 360 support and i have to send the system out. They seem to think that it is the read lens. What concerns me is that my downloaded games on the hd are now freezing randomly also. That has only ever happened once since i bought it last year. Now ever since the first update the other night, it freezes no matter which game im on, dvd or off the hd, and i have to shut it down. It seems to happen multiple times too. Its never just once. O well, maybe ill pick up an elite and sell this one to my brother.

Actually the most common red ring is from the av cables not being set properly.
And Tim, I talked to my buddy last night. He bought a new 360 cause his did the same thing as yours. MS wanted >$100 to repair it cause it wasn't covered under warranty.

Aw. Dont tell me that. Especially since the guy didnt say there would be any costs involved. I will be super pissed if he left that part out.
You knew I meant a real issue that it needs sent away for
That's *kinda* what I meant too. MS said that the numbers used to calculate the percentage of "defective" consoles were skewed because a huge portion of the consoles sent to them simply had an A/V cable problem. Apparently there's a way to trip the system into giving a red ring of light over the A/V cable settings that simply requires a tricky console reset with the cable on the right setting. Most people think it means broken console and send it away to MS for repair.

Didnt sound like a good idea to me either til I watched this lol. It is a long movie though, 8 min
OK, *drool* I usually order just breadsticks as my meal. Sad thing is I order it so often they don't even bat an eye at it anymore. If it's me and Wes we'll order a salad and 3 orders of breadsticks. I'm waiting for them to say "You know, we DO have pizza here too...."
