Hmmm... almost as FTL as spending so much time playing WoW... or buying beds.

Omg, I bought a box at Walmart that I can play on mah 720P TV, so leet.

Console games are so slow paced, graduated that a while ago. Plus, 500 dollars for something that will be discontinued in a few years? Then being almost forced to buy another one?

PC > 360 http://consolesarestupid.ytmnd.com/

Also, ASDF + Mouse > Controller

Except consoles/controllers are training wheels for gaming terribles.

This coming from the person spending his Sunday night playing Star Wars. Besides, you played what last night? CS: Source? A video game is a video game.

HEY, leave the bed out of it. It's pretty pimp and damn comfy.

Looks like the changed the venue for Pittsburgh Import Fusion. I thought it was usually earlier in August also, but not sure about that.

BTW Psu Goat - did you enjoy your Cedar Point trip? Ours was good but it was damn hot and the lines were un-godly long. Did you get a chance to ride the Maverick?

That's so funny, I was just thinking about that. Last year's was August 12th.

In all honesty, last year I thought the CC was TOO big for it, seemed like everything was too sparse. Sandcastle should be interesting though.

Console games are slow paced??? That doesn't even make sense.

BTW... have fun playing your computer games on DX9 right now... then you can look forward to buying a $500 video card in a few years to play games with DX10. Don't even throw the money argument out there. In order to play the most cutting-edge games on PC, you have to upgrade to an expensive video card among other things. I'm a PC nerd as well, so you won't win that argument.

And if you'd take a minute to stop the QQ over mouse + keyboard, you'd realize that you can use a mouse and keyboard on the 360 if that's what you prefer. And that aside, want to play a few rounds in an FPS, such as Halo (cross-platform game)? I'll bet I'll pwn with my controller against you and your mouse and keyboard.

PS. 37" of 720p > 17" monitor

Yawn. Until you play a REAL video game (ie. not WoW), you're not allowed input on gaming discussions.

I guess playing with 4 buttons on outdated hardware and on low resolution TVs is real gaming?

Keyboard and mice separate the skilled from the terribles.

Try 8 analog buttons, 2 digital buttons, 8-way directional pad, and two analog joysticks. Then there's also Start and Back that I didn't count. That's more than the four that you claim. I know... keyboard has plenty more. I'm just saying that we're not playing with NES controllers anymore.

720p/1080i is hardly low res.

One analog joystick which is never used, 4 buttons to zoom and a pause button. Games that only require 4 buttons to play ironically also don't require skill.

1920x1200>TVs

37" > 19". Also, playing while laying on the couch is FTW.

dont even get into the upgrade argument like dan said, if you want to talk money, lets talk about the $500 video card i bought 2 years ago that now cannot play new **** well at all... meanwhile the $400 xbox 360 i bought, looks fantastic on my 50" dlp, sounds incredible on my 6.1 system, and keeps me entertained far longer then any recent pc game ever has.

new pc releases = ****.. what has come out in the past year worth playing on a pc?

and 15 world of warcraft patches/expansion do not count

After watching Shaun play for a little bit, I have changed my mind. It is actually pretty a pretty cool system and that Rainbow game is pretty neat as well. Shaun has a blast playing it. Plus, I get a lot of stuff done with him not distracting me lol.

And Wes - They had a blast on saturday playing XBox 360! It was about 10 at night when they started anyway... not all that much stuff to do at 10 anymore.

Yeah, I had a blast. Lines weren't as bad on Friday. We hit up Millennium Force first, then the Maverick, then Top Thrill Dragster, and then tons of other rides on Friday. Then Saturday we went to the water park in the morning until about 5 (lazy river ftw), then back to cedar point to ride until around 11. The maverick was really cool, lots of quick transitions and stuff.

There was a big wreck on the turnpike on the way up there on Friday, then after leaving the park we went to applebee's, and then some of the people in our group had a little too much to drink at the hotel...drunk people trying to swim was very comical. Saturday night consisted of eating way too many wings at bw3 and then more drinking at the hotel. Then the drive home yesterday was rain non-stop and getting stuck in traffic from 2 accidents on the turnpike...the GTO has never been this dirty before

Man I so wanna do Cedar Point now. I never went because I always HATED roller coasters my whole life. Somehow I turned 26 and I'm perfectly fine with them, LOL. No idea what brought it on but I love em now.
