didnt a gto with a ls2, tune, headers, and exhaust run that same time at a lower trap speed....what gives?

Thats an auto though, hell I ran a 13.3 @107 with that missed 4th gear adn my best trap was 109... and Im baiscally stock... til I get my longtubes I just ordered on that is

 

tune, what tune? my car puffs black smoke post headers

stock spark, stock fueling, only things that are changed are torque management, IAT table and a funky tcm tune...

but of course thats a "ricer excuse", so i wont entertain you with citing that to the low trap speeds

 

I can't say anything about the trans tune, as I have never had to tune an Auto, owned manuals.

But AFR isn't going to change that much. The same ammount of air is still going in the motor.

 

I am not saying you aren't running rich after headers. What I meant was a 1 point (I doubt he is even running that rich) difference in AFR isn't going to give you 6 more MPH in the traps. Maybe gas mileage.

 

Also.... I think wes was talking about the AFR between a Manual and Auto car... not Jay's car.

anybody know where i can get some cheap sand blasting done? i got 4 18" wheels. the aluminum polished lips got pitted bad so i want to clean them up and paint them a bronze-ish color.
