Actually.............wasn't he going to buy an EVO a few months back?
No, this was his old SS/SC not a new one. LOL since the SS there's been the RSX, the MS6, now the Si......but it's been a few months so he might have something new. Kid arrives this month so he might go for like an SRT-8 Jeep or something.

Hehehe, would this be why you're looking for 400 out of the Balt? (Which, by the way, is gonna take an engine build and a turbo swap plus more)
and someone who knows what they're doing.
I think if you are serious about 400, you are probably looking at a return fuel system, which wont be cheap. Last time i checked Hahn was the only one working on a return style. Dont know if he ever brought it out for sale or not. Although, i thnk pazz did one on his when he turbo'd it...
does anyone have recommendations on brake pads/rotors? i'm looking for ceramic pads, non-slotted/drilled rotors. something reasonably cheap yet durable. my ss/sc is my daily so i don't need to be putting on race quality stuff but something durable and long lasting.
I don't know about pads, but Raybestos makes really good OEM-style rotors for half the price of GM. I run Hawk HPS pads, but those are on the racing end. But they're low dust, and they stop like hell. Plus they do not groove the rotors like the stock pads.
If you want cheapo disposables, go to Advanced or a Franks Auto Supermarket and buy the cheapest rotors and pads they have that come with a lifetime waranty. You wont have to pay for either ever again. I had a Z26 and then a Z24 and both were the same brakes and there was a span of about 4 years that i never put a dime into rotors or pads for either.

When did I say it was going to come, jan at the earliest maybe, learn to listen. And thats just like the job you were going to get and the aps kit that was coming right?
I bought a set of Satisfied Brakes' Pro-Ceramic line from Pep-boys for everyday use and they worked great. I even used them on a couple Autocrosses. I got 30K miles out of the pads. No squeaks, no chatter, no squeals.
I think it was 50-80 for all 4 wheels ( pads ).
BTW GUYS!
Just wanted to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas

Be careful out there coming from parties and keep all 4 tires on the ground
