Pittsburgh Crew < You
You to Brian, have a merry christmas.
I ran cheap Raybestos rotors from Auto supermarket and when I bought them, it was 70 each for fronts, and 48 for rears...
I bought a set of Satisfied Brakes' Pro-Ceramic line from Pep-boys for everyday use and they worked great. I even used them on a couple Autocrosses. I got 30K miles out of the pads. No squeaks, no chatter, no squeals.
I think it was 50-80 for all 4 wheels ( pads ).
BTW GUYS!
Just wanted to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas
Be careful out there coming from parties and keep all 4 tires on the ground

Hi. I'm alive. Survived the most intense end-of-semester I've ever had. Working 40+ a week on top of 9 grad credits didn't help, I'm sure. But I'm totally free, no work or school, till beginning of January. Then start student teaching, so will probably disappear again
I'm also taking a class...just one...during teaching, so it'll be rough. Apparently we should plan on devoting 60+ hours a week to student teaching (at school 7a - 3:30p M - F, then all the other work).
Feels like a wash-the-car day.
Loving the Magnaflow, btw. Even minivans always wanna race now...

Kinda sounds like a chainsaw, I think...

Last call for anyone going bowling. It's on the 29th. I have 4 lanes reserved right now and those are full so if you plan on coming I need to know so I can up the reservation tomorrow.
I've still got a small exhaust leak where the dp meets the cat...enough to make the exhaust sound like it's farting, and a lot more snap crackle and pop than needed on engine breaking. But it's the seam, so I dunno how well the putty / tape would work.
Don't think it's the flex pipe. I can feel the puff of air right at the seam where the exhaust meets up w/ the pipe that has the cat. Can't remember if it's flex pipe -> cat -> dp -> exhaust, or whatever. My leaks cat/pipe -> here -> exhaust.
We couldn't get it tight enough after we gutted the cat
Might just try some putty. Al put some on like a year ago, and it held for a while. Gotta love the Saturn DIY fixes...
