Like I said, I would if I could. Even if I offered a good down payment, I bet my interest rate would by way to high to justify. I could just put that money on my Honda make that smoke goats.

I think tax refund cash should be enough to cover forged internals, cam, and snail.

You are only the 100^6 person to tell me that. I would rather just build what I got. The parts are available, I've seen what this motor can do. Swapping is a headache I don't want.

K swap = too much time and too much money for all the headaches of that swap. Everyone wants to shove a K-series into everything, but usually a B-series (even sometimes an H22) is a better choice for cost and do-ability.

Is anyone here a good photog?

We're looking for someone to do some product shots for us of our custom Cobalt shift boots.

We'll gladly send you a free boot in any material and color that you would like, in exchange for some photos.

Here is a sample of our shots from a BMW:

Thanks

We're working with the admin to get that set up.

You can see our Cobalt boot at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVR...mZ250197269655

Note: The product photo is of one of our BMW boots, as we're still waiting to get an installed photo on the Cobalt.

Thanks

Well, my car got one hell of a mod this past Thursday...

It turned into a red '08 LT with silver racing stripes! Yeah, I know... a 2.2 again. I actually started out looking at an Imperial Blue 2.4 which I liked, but wasn't in love with. Was a 5-speed, sounded great and ran like a bat out of hell but I just couldn't get excited about it (or the payment). I'd been eyeing-up the "Revolution Edition" cars since I saw a couple last year, I kept looking at this red one the entire time we were at the dealership. I asked the salesman what kind of numbers he could get me just for ***** and giggles. He pulled the red car up and Jackie said "just sign the papers, this is your car!" Dont get me wrong, I liked my blue car, but I LOVE this one. It has side airbags, 6-disc CD, and XM radio, plus the "Special Edition" package (basically stripes, wheels and a low-pro wing)... for the same sticker price as my '06.

Plans so far are for tint and an intake (which should be interesting, since I managed to get one with California emissions and thus SAI). I will also, at some point, finally be replacing my Pep Boys pedals with the GM ones, Alicia. I'll get some pics as soon as the weather allows. With the exception of yesterday, it's been raining pretty much since I got it. In any case, I'm VERY happy with it... I haven't been this happy with a car since I got my Z34 back when I was 19...
