Where did you get your pistons and how much were they?
Hybrid's the only place around here. One shop was in Ohio the other was out near State College.
I never knew Hybrid was that expensive for an individual. A couple people I know got their cars dyno'd there individually and it was only $60 or $70, but they're Honda humpers so much more in line with the target demographic.
Two for me. Looks like the babysitters decided to come in and play "Dad" again. If only they realized we all know each other and don't need them to moderate our thread.
so i got a problem. put on some progress lowering springs about 2 wks ago. now they are squeaking like crazy when going slow over bumps. i don't notice it so much when i'm speeding down the highway cuz of road noise and a blaring radio but yeah this squeaking noise is pretty loud. i took a look tonight and didn't find anything out of the ordinary. all i can think of is the 21 mm nut on the top of the strut needs to be tightened. any thoughts??
Slowboy racing is in Indiana PA. They have the dynos that attach to your wheels. Decent guys to work with, and a bunch of crazy S.O.B's ( in a good way ) to boot.
Not sure about the one in Murrysville. I believe there is a shop on Rt 8 not far from the Butler TP exit ( near North park ).
My advice is if you're looking for a general feel.... go to Hybrid. SpeedNation is supposed to be a more accurate setup.
Then again... I've not personally used any of them, but I'm going on "word on the street"

As I was walking teh course, I was trying to see the course in my head, and I closed my eyes. When I opened them and was walking, I noticed a photographer kneeling about 15 ft in front of me taking pics...
I was saying to myself "CRAP! That's going to be one that appears in some magazine.."

haha nice brian... looks like he caught you at a good time
LOL Brian maybe it's the Vicadin talking, but I burst out laughing when I saw you "driving" the course. All I could think about was that one picture of the Indy car with the person making car noises. teehee
Yeah, it was pretty damn funny. The guy had a Grassroots Motorsports shirt on, so I was expecting to catch it when the issues came in the mail... SURPRISE!
Glad I could make people chuckle. Normally that have to date me to laugh at me....lol
