Sweet... though that still appears to be an Evo. There is supposedly a less powerful trim than the Evo X that's still turbocharged and AWD. That's the one that I referred to as the "Ralliart" trim model that I was interested in.

Yes, but aren't they supposed to be starting around 40K? Bit much IMO for what you get.

The new X MR is suppost to top at like 40g's with all options. A X will be around 35, and the RS is lookin like a steal at around 30. Car and Driver tested a Jap procduction X and it was slower in the straight line, but faster than the current model in the corners. If you can get a copy of the Nov 2007 C&D it has the whole article. VWVortex forums had it up but took it down.

EDIT: and now the C&D review is back up - Linkage

I think Tim (SunburstKid) had his done at Kenny Ross. A lot of people were doing it themselves.

Yes - both me and Steve (Smarty Arty) had ours done at Kenny Ross in Irwin. Install was right around $200 and they had the car for about 5 hours although the install should really only take about 2. If you go there, ask for Rick Grace.

Eh, Stage 2 is not worth the money IMO. Get whatever pulley you want + injectors. 2.8 + 60's would be the biggest I would go with, most likely a 2.6 or 2.5 though.
