That was the plan for some of us as well... the 1st 23 owners were to get out on the track, but never was sure if it was a ride-along deal or what...
Time contraints ended up having us go out on the pitlane and hold the grid row signs... very cool...

 

Damn it I really wish I would've gone. Damn family. Oh well. HOpefully they do this again sometime.

Yeah. Sounds like fun. Hopefully they give a lil more advanced warning next year so I can know when it'll be. I'd already committed to doing this family thing...had I know the mid-Ohio trip had come up I would have told them not to do it that weekend.

 

Quaker is a slow track, and all drivers are not created equally.

Haha @ the classing proposals Brian. There are going to be a LOT of people pissed off.

Any clue if it's going to affect where we fall in SP classes?...since I have no chance of running in stock class ever again.

 

Well...

There seems to be the thought that they are either going to turn DS into a baby-rallycar class and have the BMW 135 as a toss in, or that they're going to kill DS as a class, and add a new "uber-class" for the higher end cars in SS now... make two fast classes.

As far as SP.... no clue.. have to read the July fast track from the SCCA site....
