Dammit... I was buying the 2.7" because it seemed worthwhile for a $50 mod. Now I might have to look into a tensioner or a bigger idler pulley... If anyone knows for certain if the Stage 2 belt will work or not that would be great!

Hahaha, well sometimes (more like all the time) my sense of adventure gets me in trouble... Where's Dave's at? What time you guys starting? I'll prolly be free the mornings and afternoons of Sat and Sun. Lemme know... I'd be up for some retuning and turbo action...

No idea when we are starting. Still waiting to here from Dan on that info.

Directions are very easy if you can get to the High School. If you go down Rt 136 and pass the High School on your left, turn left at the next red light ( Charleroi Federal Savings Bank on the corner) and make a left into the first driveway after the bank and go all the way down to the garage at the bottom. There is a big fish mail box by the road, kinda hard to miss. lol

I was planning on doing the turbo install Saturday if everyone is still up for it... or at least if Dave and Dan are up for it. Al is coming out to help too I think.

I'm trying to get the block tapped before then. If I get that done before Saturday, it'll be a simple bolt-on affair.

Time is up to Dave. I'm ready to go as early as he is.

Well they are calling for good weather all weekend, so let's start early (somewhere between 9 and 10) so we can get it done and then you can go show it off at the car show in the evening. Sound good to everyone?

Correct
Agreed. 9am it is.

Does Bob work on Friday? I took Friday off work to get some stuff done in preparation for Saturday. I figure maybe I can get the block tapped on Friday then.

I'm off Friday, and gonna try to get off Saturday. If I do I will probably just ride out with Al since it's on his way. He can drive me around for once.

Anyone know any shops in the area who could either do a sand and re-clear or just a sand and refinish in gloss black on a c/f hood? Just got an RK-Sport one from a fellow member and it's a bit cloudy and has one small spider crack on the front. The clear is just a bit beat on.. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I'm not expecting an Earl Scheib price either. lol. I'll pay for quality of the work..

Palarmo Auto Body in Wexford (right up the street from the Starlite Cruise) does an awesome job!

No Idea. I just know they do good work. You might want to try and call then and ask them for a rough idea on price...

hey folks, just thought i'd give you all the first dibs on some stuff i just got in. i've been wanting to stage the sc and jumped on a good deal to get things rolling but i have since talked sense into myself and have decided not to upgrade so i pass the good deal on to you. just got these in yesterday.

i bought the below for $150 shipped, so $140 in person in cash/paypal or $150 shipped:
stage two belt
nates 2.8" pulley MPS w/hub
nates pulley puller

pm me if you're interested in any or all. i work in indiana pa 2 to 3 days a week and can easily meet you somewhere near my course to carnegie. from iup i take rt 286 through greensburg/plum/golden mile hwy, to 22/Monroeville, to 376 thru fort pitt to carnegie. robinson/moon is doable for $150 in person. gas is a bitch.

oh and btw all parts are new

In case anyone cares... A 2.7" pulley works out great with the stage 2 belt and stock tensioner... No slipping at all. IAT2's are still acceptable too. Can't wait to get retuned!
