Thanks lol. I was just wondering as I've heard horror stories of the stock head bolts stretching and the head lifting off the block under strong boost. I figured it might be cheap insurance now that I have the TVS strapped on... I need to get clarification however as I can't confirm if any of the valvetrain is possibly in the way.
Thanks I appreciate the offer but it was my friends car not mine, and his ******* still had j&s tune it. I'll keep you in mind though if I ever have anything else but for now I just deal with Mustangs. Thanks!
Hey guys most of you don't know me, it was brought to my attention some people have issues with my shop. I'd like to know what the issues are and how they can be resolved. I don't know what horror story you speak of. As for the car that kicked on the dyno, the wastegate dump tube melted a strap and it snapped. Car was fine had a scratch in the sideskirt. Which was repaired, I don't know what other problem there was, as for someone sitting there for 4 hours? I never had a scheduled appointment for a tune on a cobalt, all cobalt or gm work I refer straight over to fran. 99% of our work here is Evo , sti's, dsms, Audi, etc. We've tuned so many cars since we've been open from bolt on evo's and stis to 700whp built evo's and never had any issues, with any of our tunes, builds, or our work. Anyone that would like to tell me anything else I'd like to hear about it so we can improve on it. Look forward to meeting some of you guys as I think we've only ever had 2 cobalts stop By the shop.
thanks j for coming in here and clearing things up. Keep in mind anyone that needs a tune his dyno is a mustang and is an excellent alternative to street tuning. For those of you that don't know that I tune can talk to Frew and a few other people with my tunes.
hahah J you finally got on here to stop all the skittles fran was talking about on Thursday

I'm not involved in that pittspeed thread in any way shape or form. However, stuff gets around. People that do not use internet forums are aware of such stories. Now, i know you will discount everything in that thread. And maybe that dude with the hard-on for you, your shop and your tuning abilities is completely wrong. But, realize this: these stories are out there. Dont tell us they are wrong, prove to us they are wrong with results from your cars provided in graphs, times/et's and the overall longevity of the life of the cars that you tune.
