Compass of course. Depends on if i will be able to find either a new or slightly used one come summer time. I read that the 06-07's will cease production by the end of March.

LOL... ok....

SO you ARE thinking about an EVO.. not a Jeep Compass....??

I really like the sound of an Evo RS.. but I HATE white and red.

If a deer would hit my car @ 70MPH... then I could get an EVO or STI....lol

Dam deer and avoiding my car....

The RS is too rough around the edges. I still like power windows and stuff. The IX is still the best buy IMO. 5K more for Billsteins in the MR doesnt justify it for me either.

well.... For what it is, I wouldn't have a problem spending the money for the RS and having a beater.

BUT... I completely agree about the extra $$ for the "regular" evo.

After seeing the new Lancer's pics, I REALLY want to see what the EvoX is going to be like.

That and the next gen STI..... so maybe the deer SHOUDL stay away for a while. At least until I see the new stuff......lol

I guess I should say I probably won't be using the Holset either. Not entirely 100% sure yet but I'm going to be buying pistons really soon and those 10.5:1 Diamonds are looking nice with some cams, new valvetrain, ported head/blower.

DJT81185: now u and wes are gonna abandon ur turbos
DJT81185: iim friends with pussies
No Quarter 1649: lol

Yeah, umm, if I have to build the internals to handle this much boost, I'm just going to up the compression ratio big time and run lower amount of boost to keep the blower efficient. I'll get close to the same amount of power and the money I save will go towards cams, balance shafts, valve springs and if I have to, a bottle.

I don't even care about being fastest anymore. As long as my car is 300+ whp, can last 100k+ miles, be perfectly drivable, and tunable; I'm happy. Lot more I want to do to this car than just performance, and I think that Holset might end up costing too much money and taking too much time.

But then again, I'm the one with a blown motor right now so I am probably a little more paranoid.

Honestly, the payments are the last thing on my mind. I just pay those every month without even thinking.

My tax return is going to be used for exhaust, a 360 and maybe a wide band and interceptor
