Wes, i was thinking the other night, you should look at a SAAB 2.0T w/6spd. Im sure between u, Al and Dan you guys could figure out how to put it in. That would be sweet. BTW where did everyone end up going Friday after BWW?

 

6 speed u just need the cables, tranny and shifter asm afaik

saab uses a bosch motronic (9 iirc) and is uber hard to tune

I don't know if anyone was watching... but did anyone see teh new G6 GXP-R racing in the 24 hours of Daytona??
Finished 2nd in GT Class. THat thing sounded BAD ASS. V8 and RWD I think.

I wasn't aware Gran Am rules allowed them to change the driveline setup. I can see a FWD V8 ( Ala GXP Grand Prix ) , but doubt they are using the RWD in the factory car. Maybe I'm wrong.

I didn't get close enough to the R model @ Detroit.

 

I don't want a 6 speed in this car. Plus I don't believe that tranny has an LSD, nor would I want to fork out the cash for an aftermarket one. Rather pay to get this one beefed up.

My cylinder walls probably are scratched, but that's what new sleeves are for.

Got to admit - thats probably the best combo ive heard yet.

 

It would probably sound even better if the guy fixed that exhaust leak. Sounds like a wet balloon during deceleration.

Could sound a lot better with a correct install.

Last time I checked that place out... a LONG time ago, there was plenty of cuties out there. Just have to remember that EX-Husbands aren't the issue... it's when they're NOT EX's... that's when things get a bit dicey.

Most that join those sites have "issues", Baggage, or otherwise that "last resort" complex. So... if you're going there thinking that you'll beat the odds and find what you're looking for... well, there's a better chance of our troops pulling out of Iraq by Valentine's day.

Mainly, I've been exploring that option for a couple reasons... one, because walking up to a girl and starting a conversation is (for me) VERY difficult to say the least; and two, I thought I might have a better chance of finding someone "decent" that way than doing the bar thing.
