Haha there ya go. That should be the same DI VVT V6 that's in the Caddy. LLT I think it's called; years 2008-2011 in some GM vehicles.

For Camaro's.

There is next to zero aftermarket for the same engine in the Caddy's. I'm fine with that though, keeps me from spending money on the car for no reason. Can't even HP Tune the same engine in the CTS as the controller is different and HPT won't code for it. Oh well, I'll live with my cold air intake lol.

Been awhile since I have seen this thread.

Yearly update.
Made some improvements to the GTO. Also got a CTS4... and a asphalt black VFR 800 which I quite enjoy.

We dont have the DI in our CTS4, just the normal 3.6. It give more than enough power to cruise around in thoug for sure. We have had it for about 3 months and are loving it so far.

Yea they're definitely nice cars. Can't complain much. Although my gas mileage sucks. DIC shows 13.4 average year round.

Ouch, ours is mostly driven on the highway and 2 lanes that are 55mph. We average about 22 according to the DIC. It gets on average about 110 miles a day put on it.

That's not terrible for a heavy car with a V6. I live 1/2 mile from work, so it doesn't get driven a whole lot lol. Even on longer trips though I don't think I've ever seen it hit over 18mpg even after a reset on the average.

I average 19-20 between fill-ups. I sit in a lot of parkway traffic too. I guess I'm not doing too bad then.

Nope, our mileage should be a little worse with AWD.

Yea you guys aren't doing too bad at all. The AWD and heavy car does pretty nice in the snow. Looks like we'll need it today.

Ah I forgot about the AWD. Still, it shouldn't be that much worse.

I think what would make it stand out from others would be the silver mesh grill, silver bowties, and the "buck tooth" as you called it.
It had the spoiler, almost positive it had projectors, had exhaust but couldn't tell which one, had aftermarket wheels, but we were both moving so hard to tell - dark with silver lip so could have been the Evo 5s. I didn't notice a ton about the front, it was beside me pretty much beside me before I thought to look too closely.

It had aftermarket (or tinted) tails too, I couldn't remember if you left those on or went back to stock.

Those wheels sound like mine. I always had the stock tails on it though.

Yeah, it was hard to tell. Would have been better if I could have seen it sitting at a light or something. Anywhere I could have gotten a longer look at it.

Got 14.7mpg on the last tank in the G8 on 87 octane.

I drive less then a half mile to the bus stop to and from work, those short trips kill it. It also has factory remote start so I am using that at every opportunity possible so it spends a lot of time idling. Highway it gets 23-24mpg no problem, From what I am reading I should be able to pick up 2-3mpg highway by making Displacement on Demand more aggressive in the tune.

New $70k vs new $30 will do that. Isn't there quite a big price difference there lol..? Unless we're talking last gen CTS-V N/A.
