My Grandmother went into the hospital this morning for a possible heart attack... so I'm not 100% sure I'll be there tonight now. I most likely will be... but there's a small chance I won't make it. Just an FYI.

Thanks guys. So far it looks good. They don't think it was a heart attack now. She'll probably be in there a few days.

I'll probably go stop by after work since she's just over in Shadyside. I should be back in the Gbg area by 9. So it looks like I'll still be there.

 

gbg is ftl, but ill prolly be moseying that way since ill be tuning new injectors as soon as they get here. im on call with a lot less knowledge of when i actually have to go to work so i prolly cant drink, not that i should with an hour drive anyways.

BTW dan, my shop manual shows the 2.0, 2.2 and 2.4 injection harness clips to the injectors as the same design. Hmm.

 

Hmm... I ordered the appropriate harness yesterday through GMPD. So we'll see the differences (if there are any) when it comes in.

Speaking of Autoshows.....

I just was in my boss's office and saw that we have been given the nod for an "emergency repair" ( my words... not official statement ) for teh convention center where the failure occurred.

They said "we need this to be out of our shop for THIS SATURDAY"

 

Kinda sucks, but it still sounds like the Pgh show is cancelled.

Yeah Alicia the repairs we're doing are just to fix what's broken right now ( best description ), not to get the place back open.

I am betting dollars to donuts ( mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm dooohhhhhhhhnutssssss ) that I'll get thrown on that one as well. My boss usually does when we're in a pinch.
Then again... this is more the "heavy end" of what we do, so I normally stay away from that. I'm more the detail guy...
