So i went into work today just for something to do. I was that bored. Got there at 11 and there were 3 of us in the whole school. At 1 they came to my office and said we are leaving go home. So ive worked 2 hours so far this week. Got my car all messy for nothing. And the roads were terrible both ways....

My car has been staying nice and clean all this winter. I think it has seen 2 days of snow.

<-- 35min outside of Pitt. Most people that have posted in this thread live within 1/2 hour of downtown.

Within 35 min I'd take a guess of 20-25 people.

I'm assuming you're NOT counting you and Al's recreation of the Exxon Valdez disaster in your engine bay?

Yeah, we're almost all in this thread from Pittsburgh or close to it. I'm almost exactly 2 miles from the city limits.

Dan....
1) LOOKS AWESOME!

2) Never knew yuou did the CF treatment on the gauge surround... need to see that in person. Looks great.

3) thanks for the link. I think I'm ordering the 18 x 7.5 ( 45mm offset ) Not sure how well that will fit though. Need to check into it.

I need to get moving on cleaning out my garage. Sooooooo much work that needs to be done. Need an oil change, *correct* brake pads will be here this week at some point so brakes and rotors can go on, need to put STB back on, and the rear sway bar will be here in the next week or so. Damn winter work. I need to get the garage cleaned out enough so I can leave the door down and crank up the heater!!!!!!

Edit: Dan, love the gauge. That's probably the one I'll go with eventually, maybe different faceplate though.

1) Thanks!

2) It's just vinyl. I want to get a better looking vinyl though. In person, you can tell it's a print.

3) No problem. I'm loving those wheels. I'm gonna get the 17's I think just to stay with a lighter wheel (and stock size for my car). The 17's come in 35 or 42mm offsets. 42mm is what our cars have stock I believe.

Thanks. It's the Autometer C2 series. They only come in white face with blue LED display. Autometer has a ton of other styles though that function just the same. The Cobalt series has a black faceplate with blue LED display... might match your stock gauges pretty closely.

Yeah, I'm still deciding on what size. I'm leaning towards a 17" wheel since I would want them for a while and use them next year in a different class. I forgot to check the wheel width on the 17"s. If they use a 7.5 wide wheel, the bigger offset would compenstate.

That's the only place I've found that carries that wheel in our bolt pattern. PLUS... they are cheaper than all the places I've found even if they don't carry our size.

I think I'm going with the cobalt series when I get guages in the summer.
Temp, boost, oil pressure.
