Spark Plug Performance Increase?

Does anyone know or could estimate about how much of an increase in performance you would see/feel from getting the one step cooler NGK Spark Plugs?

It's not so much a power thing. It helps eliminate detonation. More air and more gas = hotter temps. The plugs are one step colder to help the situation. The gap of the plugs on the other hand have a little influence on power.

So what's a good gap for the SS/SC without a tune? I've heard people running .030 gapped with a tune.

My plugs are gapped at .38 and it works nicely. I don't know what the guys with tunes are gapping at. You will hear mixed emotions about gaps and what's reliable and what gives you the best performance.
