Thunder in DA BURGH!

Hey all you Pittsburgh area dudes and dudettes...

Don't forget that this weekend JUNE 9-11 is the Thunder in the Burgh down between the stadiums.

Drag racing, car shows, music, etc...

Maybe we can all meet down there and hang out and pick on Hondas! j/k...

I plan on being down there Saturday, so keep an eye out!

I'll probably go, but don't expect to see my car there. I'll bum a ride like I always do, LOL. I'm SO **** about my car I could just picture myself with that many people/other cars around. I'd be parked at Station Square.....

The only way I see you parking in Station Square... is at the very top level of the PG.. and parked where you're taking up the whole corner so no one can park too close.

That, or parking it@ the airport in long term parking wayyyyyyy at the end where no one wants to park.

You guys are going to laugh your asses off....

When I went to Saddleridge for my birthday...that is EXACTLY where I parked. Top level last space and crooked so no one could park next to me....

I'm planning on going Saturday before noon most likely. noon at the latest. I'll be there until around 5, and then head to the irwin cruise as usual.

Still thinking about heading to Beaver run for the auto-x even though I won't be running.
That's on Sunday...

I think I'm going to just go down on Saturday morning rather than Friday evening.

Also, I'm thinking about the auto-x on Sunday too. Anyone else?

Apex Performance doesn't have the helmet I want in stock, so I might run on Sunday with a loaner helmet. That is if I can find time to rotate my tires before then.

Directions to Beaver Run:

Get on Turnpike at Irwin. Go to the Beaver Valley exit, which I believe is Exit 13. Get off on the ramp and go around to the right onto 18 or whatever that is. You should see Beaver Valley Motel on your left. Keep going through the first (and only) redlight, should be Al's Corner Store on your right (DO NOT get gas there, fill up BEFORE you get there, Al's has shitty gas) and a Subway also on your right. Keep going straigh, you should see Penn State something or other on your left and just past there, there should be a small road that turns off to the left. There actually should be a sign on the right hand side of the road that points up that road. It doesn't look like it goes anywhere, but it does.

That should get you there. If you're confused, just ask me. I've been to BR MANY times...

OK... so I was just at my dealer getting the OFL done... and WOW... NO I repeat NO SS/SC on the lot anywhere.... they had 2 SS NA coupes ( 1 silver, 1 black ) and 1 black sedan...

Either they are selling erally well, or the 06's are just about gone, and we'll have to wait for the 07's in early July...

They are just selling like hot cakes now. I see so many on the road I don't even try to guess who it is anymore. I use to see one and try to think who it was on the site, now even older people are buying these things.

If by shitty, you mean water added, you would be right. Screwed up an old S10 of mine from the gas there.
