I've not been to one YET, but if I can, I'm planning on going next Wednesday for the test and tune...

I need to get my dam helmet 1st.

Probably not, as much as I'd like to. Finances are WAY too tight on my end until I figure out what's going on with my student loan. If that falls though I don't know what I"m going to do.

 

George, I tried to answer your PM but your mailbox is full. The 17s have Avon Tech-Rs on them. I bought the rims and tires, so I didn't have any old tires on them. I have 3 sets right now; comps, snows, and daily drivers, each with their own set of rims.

 

So i started a new job down at the VA on Highland Drive and already had someone open a door into my driver quarter pannel. Im about to go f'in ballistic! 2000 miles and 2 f'in dents. Well, anyways, im gonna be up in Sharon all day tomorrow and wont be back till round 10pm. If you guys do anything later tonight, or late tomorrow night, or on sunday, call me and let me know - Dave you got my number right? Someone tell dave to call me if yall go out. My vm will pick up tonight cuz me and the g/f are going to see FntF3 at 7:45. Movie should be over by 7:48 and the credits will roll somewhere round 10.

Door dings are why I park in BFE everywhere I go. I get made fun of for it, but I really don't care. It's my car and I'd rather avoid door dings.

The only thing I know of for sure is the car show in Irwin tomorrow and the movie on Sunday.

 

The reality of it is that i do the same thing. Unfortunately, the hospital parking lot spaces are narrow, if i take up 2 i get a 100$ fine if im caught, and i try to park near the end of the lot closest to the curb, and i mean like the pass. tires are about an inch away from the curb. Some ******* still decieded that the extra foot and a half of room i gave him wasnt enough. And ya, everyone knows the FntF is all about the cars. I dont even know what the 1st or 2nd ones were about. But i can tell you all the cars (in order of apearance lol) that were in them. I guess in the first 2 there were some people and they did some stuff or something like that....they must have had small parts or something.

 

Well I originally watched the 1st FNTF for Jordana Brewster and the 2nd one for Eva Mendes... but then I can't stop watching them ( one of my 100 guilty pleaseures ).

As far as door dings.... now that you got the 1st one out of the way, you'll be less nervy about them. I don't care... that what I pay insurance for. PLUS when you're in a hospiatl parking lot, you're gonna get nailed sooner or later.... between the sick, elderly, and kids... like agent Smith said "You hear that Mr. Anderson?... that's the sound of inevitability" It's only a matter of time. You'll understand when you get older...lol

I was thinking about going to see one of those movies... FF3 or Cars, but I'm SO f'n tired. I can barely type.

I tell you what... I am NOT a fan of that cable guy.... but I almost pissed myself by the lines he got there.

If you saw the inside of Luigi's garage.... that was my house in TX.... all Ferrari... there was so much "car guy" ( and girl ) stuff in there that normal people would've been like "huh", but man... that was great.

I need to see it again to let it all soak back in.

I love that whole 60's nostalgia from that era... so that hit home with me. I am a big americana fan of the roadside gas stops, motels, and all those attractions from back then.

I miss that. I remember the end of that stuff when I was a kid.

OK... nostalgia mode off now.

The way they did those ricers in at the end was great!

 

My cousin (who is six) called me the day after the movie to tell me that he saw my car in there. He said mine was the purple one. "That wing looked just like yours, AJ!!!!!"

 

LOL ^^^ Owned. I saw fnf3 tonight with a buddy of mind. But I still might go sunday since its free, lol. Maybe I shouldn't of posted that. It wasn't as bad as the second one, theatre was kinda empty too. Cops where everywhere down the rode. Kid in a mustang was showing off of course, cutting people off, flashing his neon underglow...

Back to the movie, like I said it wasn't that bad as long as you take into account its a FnF movie, lol.

That is the time we are always there We usually shoot for 5:30-6 every saturday. However, I am usually working but I will be there regardless tomorrow. Just wont be showing off the stock 3800. lol. I will park far away, if not at Dave's house.

 

PWNT by 2.4. Not really, but technically I did win. Gie me creidt. I get happy when 2.4 beats anything. Good God.... beeeeer and beeeeeer.

 

You can ride with me their wes if you want..I should be unpacked by then...cleaned up is a whole nother story lol

Steve, I'm goign to plan on being there for 5. Actually, I'm going to be stopping by there around 3:30 - 4 to see fi there's anyone nut cases already getting their spot!... if so, then I might call a few of ya and let you know that it will be a CRAZY CRAZY night.


Having said that now.... the show will be quiet and everyone will look at gramps here and say... "old man, you call this a car show?"

I've got some running-around to do this AM, then getting the car cleaned up. I SHOULD be done with all of that by early afternoon (1 or so) at the LATEST, so I can easily get down there around 5-5:30 as well. Let me know what's going on.
