The streets are finally cleared up, but that's only because they pushed all the snow into 5' snow banks down every street. It's a mess, but the nice weather over the next three days should be able to melt most of it hopefully. I can't wait to come down on Saturday. It's too bad I won't be able to stay for Sunday. Just can't afford it with everything I've spent this past month...

 

maybe the 50.. I"m going to bring a few different jets with me if I do... and if I don't bring the cobalt.. I might bring my lincoln if my nitrous is installed in that this week too..

With some luck, those 5ft snow banks will be down to 3ft haha. Yea man, sucks that you can stay down for Sunday. I know someone else is staying in a hotel right around the corner from TTP. I wish I could come up on Saturday, but gotta work unfortunalty. Unless if my car is still there, hahaha, then I'll be picking it up.

Its definalty not out of reach for either of us. My last dyno was 271 whp and 260 wtq. Now I added the cams, H/E, and water/meth, so I'm thinking 300 whp is definalty within reach. What do you think?

 

I think you'll be presently surprised! With the H/E and Meth you'll be able to screw with the timing and make some mean power!

 

Thats what I like to hear! Just hope that nothing goes on me. I know the clutch will have to be replaced shortly, but other than that, hoping the internals and axels will be ok for a while.

You should be fine, that's what is so great about being dyno tuned. Much safer. Just make sure they don't go too crazy on the tune. I'm pretty sure they're just about at sea-level there and it's cold so fortunately so you'll be tuned to drive year-round just about anywhere...

 

I'm gonna have to get Steve to take some videos, I don't have a video camera, but I know he does haha.

Yea, Matt isn't one to go crazy on a tune, he likes to get as much performance out of the car as he can, but definalty likes being safe as well, a good mix haha.

 

Dont forget Matt is using a new Mustang dyno now. I believe your 270whp dyno was on his old dynojet right?

I didn't even realize that. He has the capabilities to get the dyno results as if it were a DynoJet, though, so it shouldn't really be an issue I wouldn't think.

I sure hope so..I've been waiting patiently. lol..Especially since I'm not sure who's next to get the cams, and I haven't seen anyone really post on here other then us three for the most part, so I hope they get the install and ship the cams back quick style. So I don't have to wait a whole nother month. Hell, I'll have the loot for the install and all by next week at the latest.

 

Are any of you guys going to be there wensday or thursday? I need to head over there to have Matt check it out. If I punch it in second or third once I get to 5k rpms I get what I think is knock retard because power cuts in and out BAD!

With my modds and what I think was a slipping belt I only got 234whp and 226trq.

I could possibly be there, depends on when my car is done, but it wouldn't be until late. I don't get done work until 6-630, so I wouldnt be up there until about 730-8.
