If you have the money, I would say to go for it Andy. They're already down in there when they do the cam and valve spring install. You might as well change those parts out while the top half of the labor is already done. I wish I would've now. I really don't think the head gasket is in danger as long as we don't drop down below the 2.79" pulley, though...
Actually, the head doesn't come apart when doing the cam install. There are two ways of doing the cam install and if you have the proper tools than the head doesn't have to come apart.

The guy who took them, I won't mention any names........ cavy-to-ss........ he accidently finalized them on to a cd and cant post them now. The other guy who was taking videos hasn't posted either that I know of.
