The head gaskets are a lil over a hundo shipped, and you can get the head studs for less then a hundo, but from the way Dan's talkin on here, it may be a bit pricey to get it all installed.

Yes, the parts aren't pricey, its all the labor that goes into installing them. But I knew that I would come to the point where some of the internals would have to get replaced, so its time to take car of that now, just wish it didn't happen right now. Steve, I'll be bringing in the PS2 sometime this week now, what nights are you working?

Well, Matt will be having the entire head looked at to see what, if anything, has to be replace/fixed. He feels that it is just the head gasket, though. But I will have a definate answer come the end of this week or early next week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

What do you have done?

 

My car didn't make it through the baseline dyno run. The headgasket blew, which wasn't a complete shocker to me since I had been running 20bls of boost for a while. So no dyno numbers for myself, but they should be somewhere between 300-310 whp I would think when all is said and done. And believe me, I wouldn't read all 40 pages of this thread either haha, so when I get my car back I will post a new thread for sure. My mods are in my vBgarage if you wish to see.

My biggest concerns about the cam install are with mine bein an 07 and hoping that their are no issues with the cams, and tuning. As well as the head gasket problem. Guess theres only one way to find out..lol.

Hey Dan, I may want to look into a price from Matt on doin the head gasket and studs eventually also, for precautionary reasons..lol
