Sounds good man, the only down side of having so many people parttaking in the Dyno Day is that tuning can't be done on the same day, it would take up too much time. But Feb. 10th looks like it would be a good day for those who want to get tuned. Myself and a few others will be at the shop for tuning, some installs, and getting on the dyno. Let us know if you would like to join.

For anyone in the South Jersey area that wants to meet up and cruise up to Tune Time, we will be meeting at 8:30AM at the Friendly's at the Rt.70/73 circle.

Meet Beforehand/Cruise to Shop List:
1. DTM2188

I'll add you to the list as "interested" then.

The tuning would have to be done on a seperate day since there seems to be a lot of interest and a lot of participants who want to get on the dyno. You can call or e-mail Tune Time about setting up an appointment for the part install and the tune. Speak with Matt and let him know that you will be coming up for the dyno day and that you would like to drop your car off the day before for the tuning and install, I'm sure you guys can work something out. The "deal" that you will get is a reduced price on the tuning, which is discounted to $350. Let us know if your definatly gonna come to the Dyno Day, hopefully you'll be joining us.

one.eightt03, those are some impressive numbers and mods, I look forward to seeing your car and how it does on the dyno. As for the water/meth kit, I'll be running the one from SnowPerformance in about 2 and 1/2 weeks, but those that I know who have it, love it. TAG Racecraft also has one out that seems like it would improve performance very nicely as well.

Exactly one month from today is the Dyno Day.
yeah i would like to put down more numbers but like i said the factory ecu is holding me back. the engine is new and so is the set up (working the bugs out). the car will be together tomorow night so i might be going to DPA tomorow night and playing around with some vettes or something. the snow performance is the one i was looking at also.
i like hanging out with other groups of cars to see whats different and stuff..i think you can learn a lot like that. i just hope noone has a problem with a VW being there

cant wait to see all ya

I agree man, nobody will have any problems with it, theres also a Scion tc, a HHR, and a GTI coming I think, so you won't be the only one. Just curious, you have any track times? 1/4 mile? etc.

I agree also. I hate people who are closed minded. The Guys I work with always ask why I drive my sisters car. but in reality, I could take out any other employees car...cept this one guy who started working. he drives a golf...I think. and i heard him leaving the other day and it sounds like he's got something wicked brewin under the hood. So it'd be interesting to learn more about the VW's

Hey Dan lemme break down tha street slang fo ya.. He said that one of his friends backed out of a trip that they had planned, so the money that he was going to be putting in will have to get covered by Steve and his other buddy. So, in turn he will not be able to afford the 60lb injectors and tune. He will be getting the tune on his 2.8" and 42lb injectors. Hope that clears it up...lol

Now I get it, I thought he ment "trip" as in the Feb. 25th Dyno Day and not his vacation.

Good to see everything worked out well anyways.

Cool down will be atleast 10 minutes, TTP wouldn't just continuosly run someone's car without letting it cool for a little bit. I'm not sure about the AWD part, I'll have to find out. Same with the max amount, I'll talk with Matt today about this. And you'll actually be able to be in the car and "drive" it on the dyno, thats the best part, you get to do everything in that sense.

That can be done as well, just personal preference.

I had the same results, I belive its due to the size of the exhaust (2.25").

So more updated info for everyone, first off the dyno is AWD. There is no limit to how many people come thus far. That should answer some questions previously asked. A final count of those looking to get on the dyno will be needed by Thursday Feb. 22nd. A final count for those looking to get tuned on Feb. 10th will be needed by Thursday Feb. 8th.
