i for one will do the 10th of feb tune and dyno...but if theres alot of people for the 24 then i'll pass on the dyno that way everybody else can go..but either way i will be there

Hmmmm...I'm not too sure, I would have to ask Matt about it. A lot depends on how many cars are going to end up being getting dynoed. Cobalt/RL owners and Cobaltss.net members are going to get first preference in this. How many friends would be coming? How many looking to dyno? And what types of cars? Just some info so that I can find out from TTP.

Nice, I'm getting excited, less than two weeks away until my parts go in as well!

 

DAMNIT!! Sucks being number 6 on the list, ah well..Gives me a little more time to get the loot together for my injectors and installation. Maybe I'll luck out and be able to drop her off the night before the big dyno meet. That would be AWESOME!!! Hey Dan, you're phone better be on ALL the time come spring and summer, I may need to call on you for back up support jus in case I come across somethin I can't smoke...LMAO!!! Dude the Cobeys out here in Jersey are gonna represent for sure..

 

My phone is always man, even when I sleep . But I'm sure you'll be able to hold things down with your Balt. I'm hoping that we can both get are parts in time for when we need/want them by. CobaltPerformanceParts has some excellent customer service and is going to try every and anything to get me those pistons in time. It would be nice to see you hop on that dyno with your cams as well on the Dyno Day.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to see Dans beast and the numbers that he'll be puttin down. Gotta go on a road trip to get my sister, niece and nephew out a bad situation in Tennessee. May get to punch someone in the kidneys, should be fun. lol..But yeah, hopefully I'll have my stuff in time to be able to drop her off at least by the weekend of the dyno tune. That would be pimp. Told Dan to holla at me SOON as he gets his dyno numbers. lol

lastnight i was putting the car together and was going to time the engine and i found a problem with the crank ( thank god ). just went to nj this morning and got a new crank. as of right now the front end is off of the car and the trans is out. the new crank is waiting to go in and also i am going for 400whp now (just a hope lol) i got a watermeth kit going in. i hope to have it done so i can play with it this weekend.

 

400whp is a lot of power man, hope you can get there. Did you get the SnowPerformance water/meth kit or someone elses?

 

just wondering if its possible wit all these people dynoing and if more people would to get tunes would there be a reduced price in tunning? how much is tunning by the way?

 

The tuning has already been discounted to $350 from the original price $400 or $450. Also remember, the tuning will not be held on the same day as the Dyno Day, instead it is held on Feb. 10th for those interested. I doubt that a reduction in the tuning price is possible, but I can find out tomorrow.

Forgot to give my HP "hopes" . I'm hoping for somewhere around 310 whp. My last dyno numbers were 271whp and 260wtq with all mods excluding all the "soon to come" mods in my sig., which will be going in on Feb. 8th. What do you think I should/could I expect to see?

Not sure if it was just a typo, but the Dyno Day is the 25th, not the 24th, just want to clarify that so that you don't show up on the wrong day .
