Question Tuners In Newyork - Rochester

Any people from/or around this area know of any local tuners? I found a place on buffalo road but wanted to see if i could hear good things about the place first. If you know any other shops list them here! Rates at this shop start at 350.00 (INCLUDEDS DYNO)

There is a tuner shop "SYNAPSE" up the road from my house here in Glenville NY near (Albany NY). They always have very nice cars in the shop. Good Reputation and very knowlegable people.

I had emailed them. I think they're going to be the place. Sounds like a solid place, We'll see how much they can do to my modded 2.4, It's no SC but i hope to be keepin up w/ stock (or slightly modded) ones veryyy soon lol

My friend had his prelude turbo'd by them. 9 grand later.. lol. It's good work though, quality.

They do mostly Honda's from what i've seen. I don't know if they have much experience with Cobalts.

You do realize that stock SC's usually put 210- 215 Whp down stock right? What are your plans?

It he 2.4L forums it sounded like you wanted nothing to do with further modding like that. So do you plan on turbo charging your car too?

You know dammit.. really when i bought the car.. i just wanted to drive it back and forth to work. Now the more i'm doing the more i'm getting into it.. I may not be most knowledgable.. But hey how else will i learn. I'm going to say most likely this late-summer/winter i would like to do further heavy modification. Run it on the dyno, Bring it back home lol

Funny thing is that I am turnign out the same way. I'm almost 21 (June 18th, can't wait) and I bought my 2.4 as my first new car, not planning on doing anything to it. I wanted to save my money for the new camaro that is coming out with a 6.0L. But I wanted to do a few mods to get better mileage, and when noticing better performance I kind of became attracted to further modifications. Especially when I came across these guys here.

Yeah.. i feel like a complete hypocrite, but hey. Why not have a sports sedan/coupe that can run a 12 and still get 30mpg? lol
