Haha... we'll see. I made my counter-offer. She called me back but I missed her call. I called her back and left a voicemail. So I'm waiting to hear back from her again. I don't know though...

Depends on what they offer me. Insurance isn't bad... not great, but not bad for a GTO. It only works out to about $25 more per month. I can handle that.

I just have to wait and see if they can meet my offer. It's not an unreasonable offer for an 06 GTO that's been sitting on their lot for a while now. If they can do it, I'll probably take it. I just worry about winter with it being a RWD car. My offer will put me at $120 more per month in car payments. So I figure about $150 more per month with car payment and insurance. That means $75 less per paycheck... I can handle that easily. So now it's down to whether or not it's a practical decision. I'd be going from a FWD automatic to a RWD manual. But I can think of 400 reasons why it'd be worth it.

He is beyond getting an SS/SC. GTO or Camaro. He wants to waste money on gas.

Just do it! There is no more new goat after this year is over. The price is just a number. Use the "Buy it Now" feature. Then since you live so close come pick me up

My parents gave me the speech on how dumb it is to trade in a new car... how dumb it is to buy a RWD sports car as my daily driver in Pittsburgh... blah blah blah. Then they said, "but it's your money, so do what you want."

Dammit, now I'm confused too!! It was nothing, just an off-the-cuff thing. No worries.

Dan, who are you dealing with at Pontiac on the GTO?

That means that your parents support you 100% and your dad secretly wishes it was him getting a GTO but figures that after the dust settles he will ask you to borrow it on the weekends with a reasonable curfue of course. I gaurantee he is pulling for you to buy it.

They seemed to get a little angered over it though. They worry about me spending so much money. They also think that I'll be stuck when winter rolls in. Haha... they said that I'm way too into my car now, and I think they're worried how I'd be with a GTO.

Thats why I just took the hit and traded my 2.4 SS in for my 2.0 SS/SC.
