need to get a intake and down pipe first...

 

I'd also recommend a hot-side pipe, then you're pretty much set. Some people feel you can get away without an upgraded hot-side pipe for a while, but I personally wouldn't risk the chance of that stock plastic grenading under my hood.

Far as intercooler... the stock truly does a good job. The plastic endtanks are a downfall, but other than that it is a quality piece. But it's truly up to you whether you'd like to get a bigger intercooler.

Sorry again.. know how you feel. I don't know how i went this long with out any kind of tune. It feels like the first day i bought the car.. But better !!!

lol, thats funny.. but seriosly though, ill be pissed if i dont run 11's. but trust me, ill do it this year. especially now i have a built block. the awesome thing for me is that i wont have to shift to 4th anymore so im sure one less shift will bring down my time a tenth or two.

 

Hahah yep I would imagine 11's are in your future . Whats the top speed of 3rd at redline? If your trapping 115-120 you might still need 4th...... maybe?

 

in 3rd at 7000 rpms im at 111. so add another 1100 rpms to that. ill be good lol.. i shouldnt trap more than 116-118. with 30 psi i could possibly get a 120 trap but idk.

btw, who has the black tc that was at Log Cabin on wednesday night recently? My brother was telling me about it. Big aftermarket intercooler...I guess you where with your gf?

Also, I saw a black sc at Country Max out in the 315. Who is that? Has a high rise. My dad lives down off 350. Thats where I'm staying...

Tomorrow im heading up to Log Cabin with my dad around 430ish.

So I saw 3 cobalts today. One out in Greece. I busted a U turn to catch up to you. You were a yellow ss. Look like carbon fiber high rise and hood. Black gen 1 head lights. You were heading towards the old Kodak building.

Saw a blue ss with a high rise. Around 930 tonight just crossing County Line Road heading to the 315

Then on Five Mile Line road. I was behind you in my dads Torrent. Yellow ss with a high rise. I pulled into Lowes parking lot and you went straight.

I'd like to meet up. I don't really do much beside chill out with the fam while I'm home.
