Hey guys ......... Chris especially lol. I raced my dads 06 LS2 Corvette from a 40 and 20 roll . His vette hasa catback corsa exhaust , intake and was tuned by New Era Performance in Rochester... it made over 370 Whp on their Dynojet.
From a 40 I took him by a car to 100 MPH where we both let off ..... he said he wasn't pulling on me much if at all but also started in 2nd . From a 20 he jumped out a car instantly ( I spun a little ) and we stayed dead even till around 100 then he started to slowly pull a bit more till shut down ( 130) ...... so total he ended up 2 cars out on me.
All in all I'm pretty happy cause he's went 12.50's @ 115 up at the track so its a fairly quick car . I know from a dig he would've hammered me but WTF .....it's a cobalt right lol. He was impressed and I heard him on the phone telling his buddy that he better start modding his C5 LS1 before messing with the little cobalt hehe.
OH lol forgot this ...... My mom called me later to yell at me cause she said he's calling new era performance monday to price a STS turbo kit ...... sneaky bastage lol

P.S. Let me know if he needs any tuning done!
He only gained around 8 Whp from the tune even with the intake and exhaust which i thought was on the low side . Mike at new era said there wasn't much left on the table from GM with those cars and that it was more of a drivability tune than anything else.
I like having the GMS1 for a 2nd tune just so when i need to use the cruise Its still better power than stock lol. Do you think the infiniboost tune would gain me a car length or 2 I lost by from the 20 roll? Or maybe an intake and or intercooler plus retune would do it ? The only other thing I can think of besides a compressor wheel upgrade (wishful thinking ) is a catback but from what ive seen those are a sound mod more than a power upgrade .
Now that the weather is has cooled down would it be a possibilty that vince could add some timing back to it that he had to pull out the day we tuned it? Maybe keep my current tune and have the GMS1 tune replaced with the first one that ran more timing..... I would definetly pay for that retune ofcourse . Anyways thanks ..... sorry for the barage of questions lol..... I just love competing with my dad lol.

alright guys, i need your help now.. particularly the lnf/lsj owners here. im putting the car back together and im stuck on one of the bolts that i think bolts up the trans to the block.. the bolt has a stud on the other end of it. if any of you have an lsj, i would also like to look at how everything is connected so i know what goes where. long story short, the people who tore my motor apart arent helping me put it back in. so if anyone can help me out, i would greatly appreciate it. my number is 716 913 7929 so just text me.. ill be working on the car again today. thanks.

yeah, this thread definately is fail now lol.. but on another note, the car is running finally! its running in limp mode right now but its still running.. im happy to have the car back.

You are one funny mother ******. The only reason we weren't putting your car back together is because you were to inpatient and wanted us to do it without all the parts being there. We had an agreement and I would have been there any day that you guys wanted to work on it. I also had eye surgery and wasn't supposed to be working in the garage for 2 weeks, but by the time you got the parts in I was good to go again. Otherwise me and Dave would have finished it more than likely that weekend. Don't play it off like we're the ********. You constantly talked **** behind our backs and blamed us for your mistakes. Then you expected us to trip over ourselves to help you when **** didn't go right. Are you ******* serious?
