well the main reason i was asking is because i'm sick of the blower getting in the way when i change my oil. and have been loooking for a "remote" "relocator" kit. or somewhere i can have one made

Mark at TMI (www.arielatom.com) sold me the plate for $95.00 My understanding from the installer is that you will also need a fitting to go into the oil galley or the line.

there is a reason why it's locked out. half of the stuff is shut off for use without a bcm in the ariel. there should be away around it though
why would you want a standalone system for the lsj?

other than the obvious 500+ horsepower two sets of injectors crazy balts

I need to know who has had good luck with a local dyno and the LSJ specifically or with HP Tuners software? The car is being modified in central Oregon, so, a dyno in Portland or Seattle would work.

Modifications to the car are: forged 9.5:1 pistons, Fortress exhaust and header, Quaife close ratio 6 speed conversion, SPEC 2+ clutch and aluminum flywheel, custom intake and MAF housing, metered meth injection, remote oil filter and cooler, oil accumulator, custom air to liquid intercooler, Alcon race brake package, 60lb injectors, LS4 throttle body, high pressure fuel pump and regulator, GM valve springs and Ariel race suspension

Thanks for your help, Norm

hmmmm, i wanna see this

there is a GREAT local dyno that we all like to use.

that is where vince (with trifecta) does alot of tuning and is REALLY good at getting every ounce of power out of these engines!!!

let us know if you want to dyno, im about to need some tuning by vince and we could make a dyno day out of it for all us local ecotecs!!!

It will be the end of March before I am ready. My office is in downtown Kent, so, that would be convenient. Do you know if Vince has experience with the Harrop? I will call him tomorrow ...

If you want a good TVS Tune... you need to keep talking to Area47, especially if he is in the works with a Stand Alone.

True statement. vince may be a good tuner, but in my opinion Area has the most experience, and has found ways to get the most from the LSJ that most people will never know. I would reccoment you let him tune you, you will not believe the difference.

I have been without the car for a few months. Let me get it back, tuned and happy first. I am not saying no, I have no problem with some pics, ... but, right now I just want it back. I have a picture with the Cowgirls Coffee girls in it that I will dig up in the mean time.

No. St Louis.

I'm not saying to let him tune you... I'm just saying you need to talk to him.

But I'm not saying you shouldn't let him tune you, either... don't get the wrong impression.

I'm not gonna speak for him and even say that he WOULD do it... but if you can get him to tune your car... that's what I would do.

68K Mine is a fairly highly optioned one. Base was around 50K when mine was new. The new ones start at 65K. The new Atom 3's use the Honda K20. About 130 or so were built with the Ecotec before Brammo Motorsports in Ashland, OR shut down.

There is a UK Atom in SoCal with a Rotrex on it (Honda) and three of the Ecotec's now are sporting turbos.
