I get to scotts house today and we got ready to do the ol air box mod.... so scott takes the tire off and removes the wheel well and BAM whadda ya know? the previous owner ALREADY DID IT!!! SCORE!!!!!!!! only bad thing is, thats probably a good sign that the car was driven pretty hard by the previous owner. oh well Ive put like 15 k on it since then and no major problems. After we put it back together, we decide to rotate the tires and call it a day.

lol, I found the same thing with mine too. The filter was pretty dirty so I just replaced it anyways.

That was pretty crazy man. I can't remember the filter brand, but it's probably close or ready to be changed. I didn't know because I've never heard his car WOT. Well, except while we were both runnin', but both of our cars were makin some noise then. Since I have an intake and a ported blower, mine made a bit more noise, but I still couldn't tell.

 

Yeah i mean... i guess my whine is loud, but all the cobalt guys i roll with including me, didnt really notice it any louder until after stg 2.... who knows.... the filter that was used is called like intimidator or something... so we will have to switch it out to a different one soon....
