starter...
But like I said yesterday there's a 99% chance they won't have it in stock and it's gonna cost you your left nut. Take it to the dealership and use your warranty. That's what it's there for. If they keep it longer then just tomorrow they have to give you a rental.

I went ahead and used the warranty and had it towed, and getting it fixed tomorrow. Borrowing a friends car until then. I really do appreciate everyones replies, and for how long you stayed on last night. It helped me out. Thanks again

Like everyone else said, it's your battery. with a dead cell you can run your accessories, but you won't have the cranking amps to turn over your engine. That clicking you hear is the solenoid engaging the starter gear but not turning the engine over. When you try to start it does the lights get dim?

i know my alternator came unhook and quit charging the batt to the ppoint y hu wouldnt even stay on shortly after that i lost brakes and then it stopped running all together, because electronic ignition. my batt was messed up because a loose wire on the alternator. mine sounded just like what you said just would start, kept clicking, i had to have my jumper cables on it prob 15 minutes before it would turn over hooked direct to the batt and terminals cause the batt was stealing and wasteing all the power i was trying to get to the starter.

So, its still at the shop, and it was the starter, But they found a bigger problem. Apparently when they tightened down the flywheel last time they had it apart, they torqued down one of the bolts too far, and over time, the head of the bolt broke off, and caught the flywheel and was thrown through the side of the transmission. It made a big leak. Parts are still on order, driving a rental, and ready to get my car back.
