I might try to offset the cost of the system by unlocking all Cobalts and tuning other's cars.
I am going to need to get mine tuned once I add the FI. I don't know if it would be something that I would want to try for myself or not, but would be worth looking into.

Going FI yourself or part of a kit? If you are doing it yourself a tuning program would be very worth it.

Wingless right? the Carbon fiber stuff looks awsome for the Cobalt. An Orange tint clear coat would be sick! I am happy to hear that you are going to be keeping the Cobalt...an EVO or STI would of been cool though.

Ordering a cheap Oil Catch Can and a Coolant Reservoir tonight.

See about 2 a week on there. Worse part is getting the download from the dealership. they are going to try to screw you unless you know someone or come in very prepaired. GM is not doing bad because of the cars it sells or the prices...it is the dealerships that is F*@cking the corperation up.

Yeah, this was even cheaper. A guy had two of them listed starting at $400 each. The one I lost ended up going for $500. Theres another one on there for $355 right now. I'll keep an eye on it and see where it goes.

I was going to go with maybe the Garrett turbo kit, but thought it would be to much $$$. Figured it would end up costing over $5k. So I am going to try and slap on the stock LSJ M62, it is sort of a kit because I already know it fits!
Now I just gotta find all of the parts!
Tuning will be a must, and I am leaning toward HP Tuners, but it would be way cooler to buy one and all use it. I figure once I get everything dialed in I should be good for a couple years. Well at least until I decide to build up the motor and turn up the boost that is!

I have 2 extra pieces in the garage. If you want them, you can have them. They were only like $1.50 a piece.

Def. Wingless..... im going for the whole orange and "black" look... i know carbon fiber isnt black, but its real close in the dark.. the reason for it is Im one of those halloween fanatics! I might even get the custom plate oct 31 or trkRtrt.... prolly trkrtrt.... anywho if i go with the 2.8 pulley do i need bigger injectors or will that stage 2 ones work?

people go back and forth with this all the time. i think to be safe if you went to 60# injectors you would be safe

From what Ihave read 2.8s are just on the "not safe" side of the line. I have a 2.85 that is just barly on the "safe" side. 2.9 is perfectly safe. If you went with 60lb injectors you might as well get a 2.7" or smaller pully.

If you plan to go with a pully other than the stock stage 2 but no smaler than 2.85 then just buy the stage 1 kit and the pully set up you want seperate. If you plan on going smaller than a 2.8 buy a kit from the aftermarket with 60lb injectors.

GM stage 1 and stage 2 have the same tune. So unless you want the stock stage 2 pully you realy only need the Injectors, harness (that you can make yourself with a cheap kit), and tune from stage 1. Then just pick up a belt and the pully system you want!

Yeah I already have the stage 1 and I wanted to go with a 2.9 pully... GMP parts are SO ****** expensive though the stage 1 to 2 is like 350 bucks! forget that!
