I did mine. I only took about 1/4" around the outlet and port matched my throttle body to the inlet and polished it. It turned out nice.

Why do you want to switch ported and non ported blowers seasonally like that??? If you find out anybody that knows what they are doing when it comes to porting them PM me and I'll jet over to get mine done if they are willing to do so for cheap.
