Or maybe people shouldn't get mad when they ask for a tune that puts them in danger of breaking parts.

There was awhile where everyone was blaming his tune on engine failure, but the same thing was happening on untuned cars also. So that IMO has been debunked.

GM says the pistons in the LNF are good for 300hp many people are over this hp, so YES things might break. If you want 400hp (example) start with a V8, it will have to work less to get there.

AND WHY if you hear his work sucks would you want to go to him? From what I see the only people that aren't happy with his work, are the people pushing the limits of the LNF and breaking things, or his competition.

 

well i havent heard of any other tuners here and im not talking about people saying his lnf tunes suck i have heard a lot of bad things about his lsj tunes.

 

only other tuners who don't use Vince's tune say that realistically as they want your business...

Its pretty kick ass when on TC's you can hit the comp mode it kicks on Vince's performance tune, otherwise its DD/fuel saving... that is epic.

ive worked with him personally on many a diff cobalt and ridden in his lnf hhr...the reason most people have problems is because they dont data log and then retune like is included...in that case your running a "Canned tune" and of course if wont be perfect. the rest of the bitchers are just people who break stuff anyway....ive broken my car...but its not vinces fault haha

 

well hopefully he does a good job because if its tuned right i should be looking at 275 plus whp once i have my new parts put on

 

Hope to be done with installs next week sometime.
Ported head, custom log style intake, larger throttle body, aftermarket mastercylinder and clutch pedal (wilwood). Hope to approach 400hp or so. Will see.
Invader CF hood will make it look faster if nothing else. Did put new head bolts and custom head gasket.
I have had no problem with his tune. The only problem I had was my fault not his.

 

Its all personal opinon with his tune. U tell him what your looking for in ur car and hell tune the best he can for it. Sometimes the tune reacts different on the cars so you can get alot out of it for some reason. My car we did the best we could for my mods and everything but in order to get a more aggressive tune i need bigger injectors and fix a few other things.

Vince is a good tuner just hard to get ahold of cuz hes a busy guy.
