Wingless!
lol i wouldnt equate this to a superbee wing, we have a plastic park bench that isnt even attached very well and shakes like hell when you close the trunk, not to mention the fact that you cant see a damn thing out of the rearview mirror... not trying to be an ******* i just dont like the wing very much
lol
lol
You know.....I feel the same as when I first went to University.......I had a group of friends who all went to the same school. I said,"Why don't we all buy a house instead of paying for rent and at the end of the 4 years we'll cash out and have a down payment on a house". Well it never happened but, ask them all now and they will tell you I was right.
25 years from now an 05' Cobalt SS/SC in "stock" condition (mint of course) will go for a lot of coin!!!! and the selling point-----------------the big wing!!!! thank you!!!!!

That should NEVER be a basis for an investment decision. This car has alot of things negative for collectability
1. Economy car
2. Use of many SAAB parts.. i.e. nothing big and new
3. Very few cars in its class ever became collectable
4. its not a significant vehicle for GM.. nothing bold new or class leading
5. its relatively slow (sure its faster than many muscle cars.. but compared to vehicles of today.. its nothing to write home about)
6. its an economy car with a supercharger!
Look at the cars that are currently collectable from the past 20 years..
1. Buick GNX (one of the fastest cars of the 80's, great timless styling)
2. Chevy Impala SS 94-96 ('relatively' high powered engine, large vehicle, etc..)
3. Chevy Corvette ZR-1 (DOHC vette engine.. that pretty much explains it)
Now how could you ever fit a cobalt in with that crowd..
You'll never see a 1985 Camaro pullin in big money..
Are you comparing house values to car values?

BTW I'm going wingless soon as well
wing
You know..........I don't want to sound like Simon Cowell on American Idol but, I just don't like it without the wing. It's a part of the car that made it what it is. It's like taking the wing off the Superbee!!!!! It just doesn't feel right to me. My opinion only.
cheezy..maybe, Rice...definatly, but it works for the car.
