So, I dont have enough money to get the new longtube header sadly, but I need to replace the shitty cat they put on the CTI DP. Does anyone have OTTP Metal Matrix Cat, and how do they like it? Is it quiet?

 

vibrant sells them from their website. Can't tell you the noise difference, but it will last longer and work as needed.

I just saw your post and vids on the OTTP Header thread. I hate you im so jealous lol. Yea that cat, but I dont have the money for their header, since I already bought the CTI header/dp about a year ago

 

heres the cat that blew outta my cti dp, i didnt realize til i took it off for the ottp header and i had a leak at the header gasket so i cant tell if its truly quieter now or not

 

was it really raspy before? When im under the car and have someone rev it up you can hear all types of rasp from where the cat is...
**** now i dont know whether to get the OTTP metal matrix cat or the Vibrant one. The Vibrant one is 40 cheaper

 

yeah it was, but i know part of that was my leak. so hard to tell
i dont know how long its been blown out either...

I told you guys the CTI ceramic cats were largely chinese cat ****.

 

so i got the cat put on my cti dp... still raspy as ****.. its gotta be the header or something.. i give up.. for all the money ive spent on diffreent exhaust setups, i could have had 3 or more ottp longtube headers

 

I have the Metal Matrix one in my longtube, very nice.
