powell USE to supply ottp but for awhile now they have not been due to some issues. the only way to get the real deal is through powell himself.

just look on the site and you have your answer....cobalt owners...want the cheapest solution possible even if it hurts the car hahaha. they complain over 10 dollars in price difference.

Ive never dealt with either. Though powell has been quick to respond to any questions I might have and has a lot of support/friendship among delta owners. And those few things say a lot about a guy.

Yeah I learned over on the HHR SS forums that the rotated mounts Powell makes fits the HHR SS.
OTTP would never answer my question in there rotated mount sale thread whether they fit or not, which ended up being ok, I would rather get the real deal.

where does any of this have any business on a open forum....if there is a problem between 2 vendors that needs to be done privately...the he said she said of these forums are just stupid...i dont get into these topics offen but all the powell fan boys, were ottp fan boys not so long ago....everyone talked ♠♠♠♠ bout zzp, now half of those guys are fan boys of zzp...i have no problems with no one on these forums but, stuff like this is the reason why no one has ever took the cobalt community serious... everyone pits everyone against each other and nothing ever gets done to help the hole community..sorry for the rant but i've been around sence 05 and its just old...and does it really matter who asked to make what parts ..they were made...from powell and ottp...there business deal went south for whatever reason..

 

I think that is why he posted, he has tried to resolve the issue with OTTP, but OTTP continues to use his name on there products.

 

I like Powell and zzp but never liked ottp and never bought anything from them and haven't ever heard anything good about them mpx is also another good company and I like them and support them too

that's not true what-so-ever. In fact it's kind of the opposite.

When you let any company do anything they want, the community isn't advanced, it's just filled with BS and misinformed customers. that's why the cobalt market isn't anywhere.


when you allow debate, open feedback, and encourage technical discussions; the forum is advanced, the community is advanced, and the platform gets faster.


To address a misinformed point. ALL forums are drama and bickering. with consumers and vendors. highly advanced techinocal forums such as vette forums can be even worse than this one. In one debate a business got so angry he video'd his vette driving over planks to prove a competitor was lying about parts. Crazy stuff...

I honestly have zero issue with ottp.

However John has earned my business. And thanks to his help and just who he is I will buy from him and recommend people to him.

 

its a simple issue to fix..... just take his name off the website and off the parts that he no longer sells to ottp and the issues squat. thats all he wants.
