*NEW* LSJ Front Tranny mount F/S
I am selling the following brand new never installed ZZP front tranny mount for $100 ( OBO ) + shipping. Its normally $160 after shipping. This is a good deal, and It needs to go. post up if interested.
The stock transmission mount for the Cobalt/Ion is meant for comfort, rather than performance. The stock mount does not do a good job of controlling movement.
Our poly front transmission mount provides three times the stiffness of the stock mount. Industrial grade materials and our manufacture's experience in poly mounts ensure a lifetime of trouble free operation. Initial testing was done with a poly filled stock mount, we have since switched to a CNC machined custom unit due to strength concerns with the factory casting on high HP applications.
Features:
3 tims the stiffness of the stock mount
Increased torque to the ground gives better launches
Less wheel hop
CNC machined 6061 is much stronger than stock
Works with all 5-speed manual transmission Cobalt/Ion applications. This product is not compatible with automatic transmissions! Some increase in cabin vibration will be present depending on driving conditions.
Will not work with 2004(only) Saturn Ion Redlines.
