Stock sleeves are 86mm, there's no way in hell you can bore out an LSJ block 4mm more without installing some Darton sleeves or something; which if you are doing the Darton sleeves, the block can be picked up with cracked sleeves or something like that, as long as the block itself is good.

Your best bet is to either get an LSJ block, install Darton sleeves and then bore to 90mm, or get a ZZP girdled LE5 block like I've done, it's at 88mm and much stronger than a stock LSJ block.

i run a 90mm bore bates sleeved and custom je pistons block. not a road i suggest for anyone else. theres no way stock sleeves can handle that much meat taken out.

it becomes very diffcult to get the head gasket to seal around the thin sections in between the sleeves.

If your going that big just get a 2.4 block. They are Gen 2 blocks and the sleeves will take going to 90mm easily. Yon can get the whole engine for $400 on ebay

Okay stOcks sleeves 1.5 millimeters thick. I'm having customs sleeves made about 70$ a sleeve. Custom pistons made. and I'm having the block bored to 93mm. I do this kind of thing on honda engines all day long. The goal is a 2.5l lsj

So the le5 block will bolt to the lsjs trans f35 i think?
Hmm i know some one selling one close to me..
Dose it matter if it had a auto trans behind the le5?
Or do i need to find a manual one

There are many many differences between the Ecotec and a Honda engine. Please elaborate further. Are you going to use an LE5 crank?

I run an LE5 block/LSJ head and bolted up the F35 MU3 transmission no problems.
