I have a 2.2l engine for sale. A customer ran this engine without oil for a while due to an oil changing station not putting the cap back on the engine. Customer realized oil loss and went back, they filled the oil back up and sent them on their way. There was a slight tapping, when the oil filter was taken out there was a little bit of metal shavings. The oil service station wrote a check for a new engine so this one was left to me. I would like to get $500 but will take offers. Whole Engine is for sale! I'm not sure how many miles or what year the engine is but it is in good exterior condition and does run. I can get pics and info tomorrow when I go back to work. Let me know if you are i nterested.

id maybe take it for $300 shipped if its ticking bad
can get a low mile one from a junkyard that has no problems for $400

 

I didn't think that you could get one for that cheap!! I thought that my customer got one from the junk yard for a grand, oh well. Where are you located at? Not sure how shipping the engine would work and I would expect it to cost a forturne to do so. The tick isn't bad.

 

about 2 hours from deep creek, maryland. the junkyard like 3 miles from my house has has a few for a while now and cant get rid of them and everytime i call to ask they tell me a lil cheaper. i told them id pick it up for $350 and they told me $400 lol i need a second motor to do an all motor build that im in the process of about $1000 more and ill be ready to get it installed and tuned

 

i could meet half way and do $300
