2.2L Turbo kit

Yes it is me again. Stupid 17 year old cant make up his mind. I really want a turbo kit or maybe a SC kit if its cheap enough. Anyone that has a 2.2L turboed please give me feedback and what I should be expecting.

Must be in Nebraska or Iowa.

Will buy SC or Turbo depending on price.

Also is it easier to supercharge? What things would I need to look out for?

i dont know personally but ive heard that turbo is the harder way to go because of the custom parts needed and the sc just has less stuff to mess with

Yeah im probally going to go SC since I also heard turbos were not as good for daily drivers. If they are the same price I would probally rather go sc even if its giving me less power because im 17 and more power probally isnt a good thing lol.

Why would the newer balts be turbos then? Why would ford choose to turbo thier new taurus? If turbos are so unreliable I doubt mfgs would use them... They are more complex I guess, but can be done effectively. On these cars...I feel there is a lot of support for the m62 supercharge build since many people have done it and have AMAZING build threads. There are some turbo threads but I dont go into them as often. Many people agree supercharging can be cheaper but it depends. Do you have any goals for this car?

an sc will be cheaper but less power. and can actually improve the longevity of your motor if you dont go to crazy
