2.4 LE5 Clutch

Well, it's that time Well for the past few weeks I have had a considerable amount of clutch slip during normal shifts haven't thought much about it and didn't even really think about it being the clutch. Today while trying to speed up slightly (65-70) on the highway in fifth gear the clutch completely slipped. Got up to about 4k before I noticed I wasn't accelerating and the revs were. Now the gear change slip is even more, making it pretty difficult to even drive. I even thought I was seeing clutch slip in my WOT logs in hp tuners for a few weeks, but being a stupid noob tuner and not really knowing what it was I just ignored it. I also just paid >$10,000 in college tuition so I'm pretty short on cash

Anyways not trying to sound like a sob story.

Need a 2.4 LE5 clutch, flywheel, tob and clutch pipe? Not really sure if the F23 has one, I'm assuming it must? I'm only really considering a new aftermarket clutch, preferably something to hold 300 ftlbs or more. But being somewhat short on cash I know I can't be that picky. I know most people will say to buy it from a vendor, but I would like to see if someone is stuck/looking to get rid of one they got first.

If anyone has info or any kind of tips/suggestions on an F23 clutch job please feel free to comment. I've never done a clutch before so it will be a learning experience.

Someone please help me out! Thanks CSS!

I do have an Excedy Stage 2 3 puck, i bought it from Glenn229. he was making too much power when he went turbo. we did a tob on his car, did it in a day. about 9 hours total. and we had to make a couple parts and tool runs.

Clutch has about 5K miles on it he said. loks good, comes with Aluminum flywheel and clutch/pressure plate. i do not have a TOB to go with it, but i do have the ZZP Adjustable clutch rod.

ill get you all the exact info tonight and get back to you.

Not sure if you can swap an F35 clutch into an F23 or not but I've got the LNF clutch out of my car, the pressure plate still has machine marks in it, flywheel had VERY Minimal heat spots and disk looked good... i just upgraded to a Exedy Hyper Single.

You cannot use a LNF/LSJ F35 clutch setup on a L61/LE5 (L61/LE5) F23 setup...

They are different.
