So I cracked mine, at some point in the past couple weeks. (DAMN COLD WEATHER )

Its barely noticeable but I cannot stand having broken stuff, so I want to maybe fix it myself or buy another to replace it.

Option #1:

Buy new one $300+ (at dealership)

Paint will be $100 done.

so total $400


Option #2:

Fix it myself $50? (welding plastic could be harder than I think)

paint will be $100 (maybe cheaper with less to paint and prep)

so total $150

Option #3

Get one off this site in victory red, done, maybe.. LOL $200?


Anyone have ideas? I can post pics if needed, just wanna know what route people took replacing or installing these lips themselves.. Thanks!

 

That picture looks so familiar. Take it to a shop and get it fixed and re-painted. Should be aound 200 if it's not bad

 

Bump, I cant get it fixed, at least at this shop. (they give me great pricing for past 5-6 years)

Would it be worth it to sell my broken one to someone familiar with plastic repair?

 

Just how bad is it? Do you have any close up pics of the damage?
