Wanted Bad-Mab header
All I know is I felt a gain on my SS/SC with it but now I need a larger exhaust because of the 20+lbs of boost ill be running on a TVS.
He said that because you can get a real header with better gains cheaper than you can get a GMPP Mani given that they are both brand spanking new. They both provide real gains but the GMPP mani will NOT void a factory warranty because it is a factory performance part.
Take for example the stock exhaust manifold for the Cobalt SS Supercharged would be considered an upgrade for the naturally aspirated motors because it has a larger diameter than the N/A so better flow and more low end torque whether it is considered a small gain or not it is still there. That is why people buy them.
The GMPP Honed Manifold is the best manifold that you can possibly get for our cars and notice that I said mani and not header because there are some differences.
check it out here:

I believe it regardless is an opinion. It depends on your what your budget is and truly what you need for your setup.
I would do research on what it is you want. Check the market. There is not that many different options out there.
